"Well it won't be long 'til I cross over that river My momma's waitin' on the other side So full of warmth, the embrace that I give her Just have to make it through tonight, through tonight"
2.
Sitting in this cell we're s'posed to hang in the morn They got a rope hung for each of our necks right out there They say we'll swing 'til we're dead n' just as sure as we're born The town'll watch us wriggle an' they'll cheer in the square Though we're surrounded by the darkness I can see the light Between the bars up above we see our way to get loose The morning sun should mean our death but lord it shines so bright we smile 'cause we won't be at the end of a noose Don't get us wrong just now we're not afraid to die Trapped by these bars of steel an' these walls of brown This stick a dynamite is telling us it just ain't our time Just like the walls of Jericho they'll come crumblin' down No Prison bars can hold us, men can try and shoot us down We'll leave 'em lyin' in their graves and make our way right outta town Riding for the sunrise there's one thing that you can trust If you're gonna try and stop us you'll be face down in the dust
3.
The army's had us runnin' but we said We've had enough The Train she's right on time as we ride down from the bluff You think you're gonna catch us and we know you've got no doubt But it's hard to lead a chase when your legs have been cut out These soldados cost us dearly and we're gonna make them pay Our horses, they grow weary as we spur them on their way One by one we board as we catch up to the caboose No one can see the hell that's about to be cut loose We bust right in they've got no chance their bodies do a funny dance Some go to draw turn white instead, these uniforms are filled with lead From car to car we make our way the engineer is our next play We stop the train and see the light crates of guns and dynamite Nothing could prepare us for a thing of beauty wait in store We thank the gods on bended knee for this dealer of brutality Spin the Crank and watch the bullets fly, breath in the smoke as it rises to the sky This touch of God cuts trees in half and all that we can do is laugh as we tear apart the countryside How could we be so foolish as to lose our sense of time In the distance there's a posse and they're charging down the line There are 20 maybe 30 of these armed, bloodthirsty men Our chambers full, our hammers pulled prepared to fight again These dogs could not anticipate the carnage that upon them waits These pesky unsuspecting fleas ride for justice, keep the peace We'll put these bastards in their place their God's eternal warm embrace And then we'll turn these mangy mutts into heaps of buzzard's guts Grief-stricken faces realize this fateful charge is suicide Our smiles can only spread so wide with this brand new weapon by our side
4.
We bust right through the bat wing doors of this place we hold so dear Barkeep, pass down a rot-gut, and the rest, we'll have a beer The painted ladies spinning round their hair tied up in bows There's plenty time to break them in cause this place don't ever close! We're one man light, Wolfe Burton had some business to attend He better hurry back so we can drink with our new friend In the meantime there's more beer for us, for his absence we can't grieve In the corner there's a card game and an ace right up my sleeve With a crash, in bursts a trio coming stumbling through the door One's bleeding like a stuck pig and it's getting on the floor They lay him on the billiards and call for the doc by name It's a shame they had to stop what was an entertaining game Everybody to the bar, let's give the doc some room We can't complain when the entertainment's free A dollar on the table says this bastard meets his doom And this next round's on me From the corner comes Wolf Burton lookin' like he's turning green He hides his face and wipes his brow as he surveys the scene "We better skin on outta here, I've made a goddamn mess" Was Wolfe who put the bullets in that bleedin' fella's chest If he comes to and folks get wise, he'll get the rope for sure They're probably too damn drunk, why don't we make them drink some more c'mon doc there's one for you, tilt back and ease your mind These fella here can wait a spell, this stuff won't make you blind Everybody to the bar, forget these grim affairs The moon is bright, so should our spirits be If you drink 'til you can't stand fear not there's rooms just up the stairs And this next round's on He's wakin' up, this just won't do We're up shit creek if he pulls through Some music aught to right this wrong Come on deadbeat, play that song The doc is lookin' roostered and his clothes are stained with red He opens up his mouth and slurs the news: This fella's dead Everybody to the bar, his soul has left this world, raise a glass drink to his memory So slam 'em down, and ante up, and grab yourself a girl, 'cause this next round's on me

Esperanza 04:10
As far as men go I ain't no ace of spades One-eyed-Jack or Joker's more my kind And I've drank my share of whiskey and I killed my share of men And I filled my share of women of the night I could've been your hombre and you could've been my world, Been my senorita and my bride And our lives would look so different, so beautiful and fair Spending every moment by your side I'm sorry Esperanza for the things I didn't say The words better said I held onto Not a day can slip away, my dear that I don't pray My callus heart knows all my pain is due I swore my life had found its way, I've done my wrong, I've been untrue I'd give it up for one more night with you Sometimes I think about you and how it used to be, Things we did, and places we would go Then I remember I'm a bastard, and I left you there to rot In that little town in Mexico
6.
Pull yourself up off the street, Bull, throw some water on your face I won't be hangin' round here when the law reaches this place Bug was in the shop this morn pickin' up some shells when he heard an army train's been robbed and Coke is mad as hell Buck is bringing horses and Wolfe is being sick Bug is playin' one last hand and we're here holding dick Do you want more information, is there anything you need Is it enough they're sending rangers led by Solomon Creed The plan has not been altered but our time is running thin The place we traveled once before, we must return again Make ready, Kid, we ride today for where the bad men go We'll go where they won't follow where the winds of freedom blow We'll head down where there's no lawmen and tequila falls like rain With women by the fistful and they taste like sugarcane And they won't know the Bloody Higgins Boys when we go down below We'll disappear just like a specter when we get to Mexico "I can leave this life behind me," I'll be busy chasing skirts Those poor bastards at the tables are about to lose their shirts And Esperanza will be waiting I can smell her sweet perfume Let's not sit around here dreamin' we're sure to meet our doom Will Sapo welcome us with open arms, or will his ears be shootin' steam We been away from home so long, much longer than it seems The old man will be glad when his prodigal sons return We'll fall asleep to serenades n' watch the fire burn We'll head down where there's no lawmen and tequila falls like rain With women by the fistful and they taste like sugarcane And there won't be no Bloody Higgins Boys when we go down below We'll disappear just like a specter when we get to Mexico
7.
El Cucuy 03:42
Deep in the shadows lurks a presence so foul whose name you may heard whispered before He's the reason for the shivers up the spines of grown men when skies are dark and there are creaks from the door His blood red eyes are shrouded by the hat that he wears a tattered cloak, his mangled body beneath He wears a long black scarf to hide his cavernous mouth and bits of flesh caught in his razor sharp teeth So hold your loved ones tight the moon is shining bright Cucuy comes tonight He preys on sleeping children lying in their beds and drags their bodies into the night Cucuy hacks at the throats to silence would-be screams removes their clothes before he takes his first bite the corpses are devoured 'til there's nothing left no bones remain for vultures to pick The only thing that El Cucuy leaves behind is their severed flaming head on a stick Cross your heart and bar the door Pray to your god with your knees on the floor Douse the lamps and close your eyes What happens next should be no surprise She was taken from the comfort and the warmth of her bed her body taken into the night Cucuy hacked at her throat to silence would-be screams removed her clothes before he took his first bite Her corpse was devoured, there was nothing left No bones remained for vultures to pick The only thing that El Cucuy left behind was her severed flaming head on a stick
8.
Into The Pit 02:35
Over the hill I can see the rising smoke Comanches, Texas Rangers, at each other's fucking throats Before I think, my guns are pulled I'm charging straight ahead The danger's of no consequence if rangers end up dead The lead I deal to them turns the air to crimson mist As I run out of ammo I resort to knifes and fists My blade is stuck inside a skull it's eyes look terrified I turn around to see my brothers fighting by my side Blood, guts, scalps, and hair Glistening carnage everywhere Dead Rangers wreak of shit Throw them down into the pit
9.
The monster you seek is but a mortal man, possessed Follow the trail of the dead
10.
Manhunt 03:58
Grab your shit and saddle up, there's a blood moon out tonight, There's a demon down in Mexico, and it's for his blood we ride With this help from Kid, we'll track him down, there's no place he can hide Through spirit caves and shallow graves with vengeance by our side The scent grows strong, death comes right on cue Sleepy town distant cries, Cucuy has been through The smell of burning flesh is making Burton sick There's carnage on the wind, storm's a coming quick The sky cracks open with it's white hot light, like a pack of hungry wolves running through the night We won't stop 'til he's hanging from a pole With a thirst for the blood that's running through his veins, hot on his filthy heels, we begin to gain And, like this thunder, soon his savage head will roll In daylight it's hot as hell, our horses slowing to a crawl the dust settles in our bloodshot eyes, the sun laughs before it falls when darkness comes, no time for sleep, won't lay lay our heads to rest the night brings out the stench of him, it's when we hunt him best The beast is close, we harden our resolve No tears, no pain, just bulls with uncut balls The rain slicks off our coats, we're knee-deep in this shit Just over in the graveyard, a throat's been hacked slit We dig our heels into our steeds Flinging mud as we barrel down the street Past the mission to the cemetery, prepared to be death's missionary We're pissing scared as his reddened eyes we meet He leaps into a tomb above the ground We blast the stone to rubble, he is nowhere to be found The sky cracks open with its white hot light, El Cucuy is still out ripping through the night He'll leave your crackling head upon a pole No rosary will save your skin, you can lock up tight, he will still get in He comes for you when savage thunder rolls
11.
"Well it won't be long 'til we cross this river I know that death waits on the other side Though thoughts of the gallows used to make me shiver I know I've earned what comes after this ride And when flames lick at my feet, and the world goes cold and black When I'm hangin' in the street, and the rope's got no more slack I'll join that throng of demons and I'll wait there patiently I won't be causin' trouble, cause my friends will come for me"
12.
The morning brings a silhouette that rides against the dawn A white rag raised and flapping in the wind As it grows near we see a chest that bears a ranger's star Our guns are drawn before its mouth begins 'We've got your friend across the way he's rotting in a cell we'll trade wolves for bulls and spare your filthy lot!' A blast is heard, the figure slumps, as blood runs down its head kid smiles and spits and tells the corpse to rot And we won't deal with the ones who have taken our lives We will bring you a furious fight We'll wait until the dark of night and for Laredo ride We'll burn this fucking corpse to turn their heads We'll move in real quiet, boys, just ropes and fists and knives If they're standing in the way they end up dead Who do you think you're messing with Think that you can take our friend We'll burn you down and paint your red Don't know it, you're already dead
13.
Ride into the night flames burning high Justice is nigh Descend on the town, there's not a sound No one to be found We bust right in there's one lone star, and Wolfe who waits behind the bars This knife produces founts of red then boots crush it's head A ring of keys our friend is free, a pair of eyes that turn and flee Wolfe chases them into the street Where body parts and bullets meet Slug-like Wolfe crawls and leaves a trail behind He lights a smoke to calm his racing mind It seems there's lots of guns outside Slim chance we'll make it through the night “Is it normal to be coughing this much blood?” Like something had come over him, Wolfe said, “looks like we're at an end, Don't drag this rotten moment through the mud.” He smiles and shakes and stands upright, Picks up a grip of dynamite Lights it, tips his hat, then disappears Lead rains down from up on high Wolfe bursts through windows terrified blows them all to hell, our path is clear
