The army's had us runnin' but we said we've had enough
The Train she's right on time as we ride down from the bluff
You think you're gonna catch us and we know you got no doubt
But it's hard to lead a chase when your legs have been cut out
These soldados cost us dearly and we're gonna make them pay
Our horses, they grow weary as we spur them on their way
One by one we board as we catch up to the caboose
No one can see the hell that's about to be cut loose
We bust right in they got no chance
Their bodies do a funny dance
Some go to draw turn white instead
These uniforms are filled with lead
From car to car we make our way
The engineer is our next play
We stop the train and see the light
Crates of guns and dynamite
Nothing could prepare us for a thing of beauty wait in store
We thank the gods on bended knee for this dealer of brutality
Spin the Crank and watch the bullets fly
Breath in the smoke as it rises to the sky
This touch of God cuts trees in half and all that we can do is laugh
as we tear apart the countryside
How could we be so foolish as to lose our sense of time
In the distance there's a posse and they're charging down the line
There are 20 maybe 30 of these armed, bloodthirsty men
Our chambers full, our hammers pulled, prepared to fight again
These dogs could not anticipate
the carnage that upon them waits
These pesky unsuspecting fleas
ride for justice, keep the peace
We'll put these bastards in their place
Their God's eternal warm embrace
Then we'll turn these mangy mutts
into heaps of buzzard's guts
Grief-stricken faces realize this fateful charge is suicide
Our smiles can only spread so wide with this brand new weapon by our side
